So, sugar, should we or shouldn't we? Well, it is hard during the holidays to stay true to a 100% natural diet. But, the good news is that there are options when you are at home and have control over what you are putting into your mouths. One of my favorite, and most easiest ways to get away from the refined sugar is to use Sucanat. Sucanat is minimally processed. The molasses has not been processed out so the granules are brown and have a mild molasses flavor. Not to mention, it actually has a nutritional content to it - you can get some vitamins and minerals from your chocolate chip cookie! I use it in all my recipes... even my chocolate pie recipe! So, head out to your local health food store and grab you a bag of Sucanat. http://www.wholesomesweeteners.com/brands/Wholesome_Sweeteners/Fair_Trade_Certified_Organic_Sucanat.html

My 1st issue of Health
Well, my intentions on this blog is to share information, interesting tidbits, exciting ideas, and just plain great reasons to raise a family that thrives on the naturally occurring goodness in this world. I am no granola girl. Believe me, I like to visit my local Sonic as much as the next person. But, I do believe that we can balance ourselves and still live a healthier life and stay away from a lot of the ickies in this world.
From whole foods, recipes, vitamins, supplements, hypo allergenic recipes, and natural cleaning products, I hope to broaden your knowledge base for all things healthy!
I am a stay at home mom of 3 babes ages 5 and under with one more on the way. We are just the normal family looking to make the best out of this life.
If you have any questions or would like to see a topic covered, I will do my best to answer all the questions.
All information in this blog is designed to give my opinion and is in no way a medical professionals opinion. If you have any questions about a specific medical condition, please seek the advice of your doctor. I hold NO responsibility for allergic reactions to any of my suggestions. Read and experiment at your own risk.
With all that being said - here we go!
