Tis the Season to eat sugar??

So, sugar, should we or shouldn't we? Well, it is hard during the holidays to stay true to a 100% natural diet. But, the good news is that there are options when you are at home and have control over what you are putting into your mouths. One of my favorite, and most easiest ways to get away from the refined sugar is to use Sucanat. Sucanat is minimally processed. The molasses has not been processed out so the granules are brown and have a mild molasses flavor. Not to mention, it actually has a nutritional content to it - you can get some vitamins and minerals from your chocolate chip cookie! I use it in all my recipes... even my chocolate pie recipe!
